On March 11, 2017 Division 15 held its third tournament of the 2017 Ram American Fishing Tour season ran out of City Ramp in Plymouth, NC. Taking first place was Gary Keim of Emerald Isle, NC; he caught 5 bass weighing 19.83 pounds. Gary also had the Big Bass of the tournament weighing in at 7.84 pounds. Gary took home a check for $611.00 for first place, $160.00 for Big Bass, and $105.00 for the 1st place TWT, all totaling $876.00. Gary caught his fish bedding.
In second among the competitors, Lawrence Thomas of Washington, NC, caught 5 bass weighing 16.56 pounds. Lawrence pocketed a check for $254.00 and $45.00 for 2nd place TWT, all totaling $299.00.
Taking third place, Matthew Oakley of Farmville, NC, caught 5 bass weighing 13.70 pounds. Matt pocketed a check for $79.00.
In fourth place, Monte Morgan, of Ayden, NC, caught 5 bass weighing 13.65 pounds. Johnnie Beddard of Washington, NC, rounded out the top five competitors with 5 bass weighing 13.61 pounds. All 16 anglers received a gift of bait from Deep Creek Lures.
