Morgan of Hookerton, NC won the American Fishing Tour North Carolina
East division 15 tournament with 5 fish weighing 8.47 pounds held on
Roanoke River on 09/27/2014.
Running out of NC 45 Landing near Plymouth, NC, the Hookerton, NC,
angler caught 5 bass weighing 8.47 pounds. Monte took home a check for
$259.00. Monte caught his fish on soft baits, jigs, and frogs.
In second among the competitors, Robin Bowen of Snow Hill, NC, caught 4
bass weighing 5.62 pounds. Robin pocketed a check for $93.00.
Taking third place, Kenny Simpson of New Bern, NC, caught 2 bass
weighing 4.27 pounds. Kenny also had the Big Bass weighing 2.92 pounds.
Kenny pocketed a check for $40.00.
In fourth place, Stephen Chang of Centerville, VA, caught 1 bass
weighing 2.55 pounds. Jeff Davis Jr. of Williamston, NC, rounded out the
top five competitors with 1 bass weighing 2.38 pounds.

Registration start at 5:30 AM and ends at 6:40 AM, we will have a short
meeting at 6:45 AM and launch at 6:52 AM.
Tournament ends at 3:00 PM,
weigh-in begins at 3:05 PM. You may trainer your boat before weighing
in.

anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year
title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual
American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT
Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various
divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT
National Championship tournament.
The American Fishing Tour offers
low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the
weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points
advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500
anglers in the US are invited to the American Fishing Tour National
Championship.
